Our "Christian" President

My Fellow Americans,

I ran across an article just the other day that really sent my blood boiling over. It was talking about how our "Christian" president asked the staff of Georgetown University to cover up any "Christian Symbols" that maybe in the background of the area in which he would deliver his speech at there University (you know that they are catholic don't ya). Well, I would like to take the time to share one of the many articles about this request before I make my comments.

The White House acknowledges that it asked Georgetown University, a Catholic institution, to cover up prominent Christian symbols for President Obama's economic speech this past Tuesday. The symbols, the letters "IHS" which stands for Jesus Christ, and a cross, are engraved on a pediment that stands behind the stage from which Obama delivered his address. Both the cross and the symbolic representation of Jesus' name were not hidden by the background drapes that the White House wanted for the event, and so the Administration asked the school to cover them.

A spokesman for the White House said that there was no intent behind the request to cover the symbols other than to provide a standard presidential background.

"Decisions made about the backdrop for the speech were made to have a consistent background of American flags, which is standard for many presidential events. Any suggestions to the contrary are simply false."
A spokesperson for Georgetown echoed the White House line, but did not respond when asked if similar requests had been made for other presidential addresses at the school.

The Administration may have wanted to control the visuals from the speech, but the request to cover up Christian symbols at a Catholic school is bound to detract from the message. If the White House wanted to give a speech in a religiously neutral environment, there were plenty of venues to choose from in Washington. It is doubtful that anyone would have questioned the presence of the symbols had the Administration not asked for them to be hidden. Ironically, in their absence, the symbols may never have been more visible.

Let me just begin by saying this.......I don't know who I am the most mad at, our Loon of a President that is starting to show his Anti-American, Anti-Christian Colors or the spineless jellyfish @ GU that don't have the guts to stand up for their Christian heritage in the face of opposition!!

I wish that they would try that garbage at a Fundamental Baptist College....say like BOB JONES UNIVERSITY (or one like it) where they love God more than they do popularity!! I am 100% sure that the president of BJU, Stephen B. Jones, DD, PhD, would have been more than glad to stand up for Jesus in the face of opposition, and tell the WHITE HOUSE............NO, I will not cover up CHRIST or anything related to him for you or nobody else!!!!!

Do you know why, unlike the Catholic faith (most of them anyway), us Fundamental Baptist have not forsaken our convictions or our Savior and his Biblical teachings to please the crowd, the big money "Christians" in our pews, or the Government. (RIGHT MR. Miller!! Oh I forgot he doesn't understand us Fundamentalists. He believes in compromise!!) We are still willing to take a stand for Christ because we recognize that he has done something for us that no other man can ever do for us. He (Jesus Christ) died upon and old Rugged Cross to pay the sin debt so that we (and whosoever will accept him) can have eternal life!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEN!! There is not a Congress, a Senate, or a President that can make me deny my Christ just so they can make a meaningless speech about our Economy that hey are destroying more and more daily!!

Now I am not saying that Fundamental Baptists are the only ones that are standing for God in this difficult time! I am just making the point that this kind of garbage wouldn't fly at a Fundamental Bible College (like it did @ Georgetown and Notre Dame)(I know that ND fought tooth and nail to keep the President from coming there, but the higher ups shouldn't have invited that baby killer their in the first place)!!

I want to applaud any Christian that is willing to take a stand for Christ in this difficult time, but I also want to chastise any and all "Christians" that are willing to compromise the word of God or compromise on thier beliefs just to make people happy!! (more and more preachers do just this!! How anybody can do this and still call themselves Gods Man is beyond me!!) All I can say is this...........WHAT IF CHRIST WOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN A STAND FOR YOU ON THAT MOUNTAIN CALLED CALVARY!!! WHERE WOULD YOU BE!!

P.S. I SURE HOPE OUR PRESIDENT GETS SAVED..........I JUST DON'T WANT TO SEE THE ENTIRE NATION GO TO HELL (not us Blood Bought Christians of course) JUST BECAUSE HE IS!!!
